What Is Churn Buster?

Getting Started
There are two ways to get started with Churn Buster:
- MEASURE: This is a free analytics-only mode to measure your existing process. After 6 weeks of tracking data, you can schedule a call with the Churn Buster team to review results and decide on turning on the optimized process for a before:after comparison to show uplift and prove ROI.
- OPTIMIZE: Turn on the full process (paid plan) to get the most out of your failed payments recovery.
With just a few clicks you’ll be up and running—no code required. The Churn Buster team provides a concierge onboarding experience and consultation along the way once you're up and running.

Option 1: Measure
Measure is the free analytics-only mode to measure your existing process to get a baseline and prove ROI before turning on Optimize (option 2).
- Contact the Churn Buster team (in chat or by emailing support@churnbuster.io) to set up an account.
- Find Churn Buster in the Subbly app store, and enter the Account ID and API Key found on this Churn Buster page: https://app.churnbuster.io/live/_/sources/api Then click to enable and save.
- You're all set! Churn Buster is now tracking data.
- After 6 weeks, you should have enough data to analyze your recovery process. You can schedule a free, 30-minute consultation here, where we’ll review the analysis and identify improvement areas.
Option 2: Optimize
Optimize is the full paid plan to maximize results and get the most out of your failed payments recovery.
- Contact the Churn Buster team (in chat or by emailing support@churnbuster.io) to set up an account.
- Find Churn Buster in the Subbly app store, and enter the Account ID and API Key found on this Churn Buster page: https://app.churnbuster.io/live/_/sources/api Then click to enable and save.
- In Subbly billing settings, set renewal attempts to retry after: 1 day, 3 days, 3 days, 4 days, 5 days.
- You can leave this setting on or off, depending on what is best for your business model: "Cancel subscription if dunning is unsuccessful."
- Turn off the Subbly failed payment email.
- You're all set! The Churn Buster team will add your branding and best practices, then notify you about what to watch for next.
