Alerts
Set up campaign alerts so the right person on your team gets pinged at the right moment in a campaign.
When a person should step in
Churn Buster runs recovery hands-off. Retries fire, emails go out on a tested cadence, and most failed payments resolve without anyone on your team lifting a finger.
Alerts are for the cases where a person should step in anyway. The high-value subscriber you'd want to reach before their campaign runs out, and the customer whose email keeps bouncing so the campaign can't get to them at all.
Flag the accounts worth a personal save
An escalation marks the subscribers most worth a personal save and hands them to your team. You add it as a campaign step so an at-risk, high-value account nearing the end of its window opens a support ticket.
- Turn it on with a single click on the campaign, and we email your team when a high-order-value customer is close to the end of their campaign.
- Your team checks the account and reaches out personally, by phone, text, or email, the way automation can't.
- For more targeted routing, a webhook escalation can push the alert into Slack, your help desk, or another app.
If that's more than you need, we can BCC you on the final email of a campaign so you can keep an eye on subscribers nearing the end without setting up full escalations. The deeper setup lives in Campaign Escalations.
Keep eyes on every campaign, not just the risky ones
Some businesses have high-value customers or high-touch models where the team wants oversight of the whole pipeline. For those, you can turn on alerts when a campaign starts and on the outcomes that follow, so a recovery or a loss is something your team sees in real time rather than finds later in a report.
Point those alerts at a support or CRM inbox and they land where your team already works, so the right teammates stay looped in without anyone watching a dashboard.
Catch the customers you can't email
An alert only helps if the email reached a real inbox. When a campaign email bounces, Churn Buster flags it so your team can correct the address or find another way to reach that customer.
Fix the email in your own system and it syncs back to Churn Buster automatically, so the next send goes to the right place. SMS Nudge works as an automated failsafe in the same spirit, reaching customers whose email isn't getting through. The full picture is in Bounced Emails.
Where to go next
Alerts are the human-in-the-loop layer on top of an automated campaign.
- Campaign Escalations, the full setup for routing at-risk accounts to your team.
- Bounced Emails, how to spot and fix addresses that can't be reached.
- SMS Nudge, the automated second channel when email isn't landing.
How the channels sequence together is covered in Adaptive Campaigns.
